Agreement

By using ChrisScotti.com or engaging with campaign communications from Chris Scotti for Bryan City Council, SMD 1 ("we," "us," or "the campaign"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or request campaign communications.

Campaign purpose

This website and our outreach support the political campaign of Chris Scotti for Bryan City Council, Single-Member District 1. Content is for informational and political purposes related to that campaign.

Website use

You may browse the site for lawful, non-commercial personal use related to learning about the campaign. You agree not to:

Contributions, volunteering, and endorsements

Contributions are voluntary and not tax-deductible as charitable donations unless a separate notice says otherwise. We may decline or return contributions when required or appropriate.

We may send political campaign text messages and make phone calls using contact information from publicly available voter records (including phone-append matching) and information you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts; reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not necessarily opt you out of other lawful campaign contact methods unless you ask us to stop those as well.

Intellectual property

Site content, branding, logos, and materials are owned by the campaign or used with permission. You may share links and publicly available pages for personal political discussion. Do not copy campaign materials for commercial use or misleading political advertising without permission.

Third-party links and tools

The site may link to third-party sites or payment/volunteer tools. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of those services is between you and the third party.

Disclaimer

The site and communications are provided "as is." We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the campaign and its agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or campaign communications. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us directly through the site in the 12 months before the claim, if any, or (b) $100.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the campaign and its agents from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms, to the extent allowed by law.
